Celluloid puts Chaos Group’s Phoenix FD to the test.
We thoroughly tested Phoenix FD, the fluid simulation tool from Chaos Group, developers of V-Ray. We were quite pleased with the results, to say the least.
Roughly 200 million particles, around four days of simulation on a dual 14-core XEON.
As a reward, Chaos Group features our test on their Phoenix FD Gallery, as well as an image of it on the splash screen of the software’s installer.
